"Pure Vajra"

In 2012 Shamar Rinpoche told me to leave my life in the US and move to Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, and one month later, I left it all behind and was on a plane bound for France. Dhagpo has become my home, and my family, and being here has opened doors and brought new purpose, community, and possibility to a once bleak and confused life.

It is directly because of Shamar Rinpoche, and the support and guidance of Lama Jigmé Rinpoché that I am here, and my trust in them both is unwavering.

Pictured here two weeks before his passing is Shamar Rinpoche, during his final teachings in Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, in front of hundreds of students; his clear and attentive gaze cuts through everything.
