"Sojong Glow"

For the past two years, directly after Kagyu Monlam, KIBI has hosted a ten day public meditation retreat with Sojong led by His Holiness himself, and I was fortunate to be there last year, and excited to be able to attend again this year. Having this special time with Karmapa, practicing with such a great, and dedicated group of people, taking Sojong vows all together in the gompa at 5am, we were all very lucky to be together and sharing in this opportune moment of practice, and heavy purification as well :) In preparation for this year's retreat I offer this photo from last year, His Holiness preparing to give Sojong vows to the group, leading the way, creating the space for us all to practice together.
