Seated in front of the most incredible stupa in the world, as it leers high, peering out of over the ocean, the sunset coming over the hills setting the sky alive with color; your eyes were blazing with love. It was extremely special. The sky was brilliant blue, dotted with the most beautiful golden clouds whispering through the air, fiery Phoenix and graceful Dakini slowly dancing into the dark of night. I forgot about the crowd and the noise, and simply melted into the moment. Ole gave teachings on Lama Shang’s Mahamudra, a very special set of teachings that are iconic for Ole when he is feeling most generous and open. Yesterday was one such moment. It was also my first reunion in years with the great Stupa of Benalmadena, and place many know to be extraordinarily dear to my heart. This Stupa just stops my heart mid-beat, it is just the most beautiful sight I can imagine. That wondrous sky, the clouds crashing above me into waves of color, and the sounds of Ole’s most intimate voice slowly serenading the crowd with soft strokes of love. It was sublime.
