Today was a huge day for Dharma in Denmark! After more than forty years of activity, today they installed the tree of life and the statue into the new Stupa here in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen - The Tree, The Statue, The Gold

It was absolutely perfect,I’ve never seen it go so smoothly. The weather said it would rain but instead we had a brilliant blue sky, which halfway through the ceremony erupted into a huge full circle rainbow around the sun. Lama Ole and Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche were holding hands and laughing together, you could tell they were both extremely pleased with how everything was going. They have such a special bond, and it only grows as they continue these amazing projects together. This tree of life was installed with powerful relics kept by Rinpoche himself for this special occasion so many years in the making. The statue is one of the most magnificent I have ever seen, seated on a throne of gold. It is truly breathtaking. It was all so joyful I really can’t believe it. Originally Rinpoche’s last Stupa was supposed to have been in Russian, but for this extremely important event he came out of retirement for just one more. We are all so incredibly thankful that he did, for this is going to be one for the history books indeed. The sun, the rainbows, the statue, the gold. The joy. This was a truly incredible day!
