Look at the way Karmapa and Lama Ole love each other. It is profoundly beautiful to witness, and unmistakably heartwarming.

Europe Center - The Gift Of Rose

Things like this make the world go round - we may see pain and suffering, we may bear great burdens, but simple moments emerge when we see the world in all its rose colored glory. Look at our great teachers. Look at the examples they give us, their profound love for us, their respect, patience and continuous compassion. Look how they teach us. Karmapa said in his teaching for us to just be. To be what we are, who we are. The greatest gift we can make to ourselves is to just be in the moment, being who we are, and let the world just be around us. Sit in the moment. Be there. Karmapa is a perfect example of just being, he just is. He loves, he gives, he teaches, he nurtures, and most importantly he walks the walk. He does as he asks us to do. He is profoundly there. Always. During the empowerment he gave of Chenrezig he showed us exactly that, blessing 7000 plus without a moment’s rest and a huge happy smile on his face the entire time. Lama Ole is another shining example of a man who does exactly what he asks others to do. He gives his all, at all times. Look what he has built with his life. Look how he has brought together so many from so far. He certainly walks the walk, and he walks it better than anyone. Look at the way these beacons of compassion and love openly love each other so. If they can, so can we. We can be ourselves, with ourselves, as ourselves. We can meditate and live in the moment. We can love each other with our complete hearts. We can, and must, be the best - we - we can be. And when we do, the world will be bright and full of love. Not because we fake it or pretend, no, because we see it as it truly is. Honest, true, and beautiful as can be. Give the gift of rose.
