Bidding adieu, the Lama who never ceased or swayed. I am empty and alone.
Upon reflection you endowed me everything, I know not what I gave in return. A tender heart full of love my only offering, Yearning it be enough, trivial as it may. Your life of gracious compassion leaves me flailing in your wake.
Maniwa the Great disciple, Staple mountain upon which we lean. Maniwa the Great practitioner, Glorious and profound Vajra bolt of awareness. Maniwa the Great teacher, Vast as the sun’s rays you leave us gleaming from your gentle heart.
I know not what to say, I am gutted and torn. Burning gold and unfettered emerald scorch the skies. Maniwa The Great, The Compassionate, the Bold. Victorious and Indestructible. The Outrageous, Jetsun sayer of truths. Humble and profound.
Maniwa the Great Lion is no more. I know not what to say, For you have already given me everything. The one and only. My one and only. Maniwa.
