There were rainbows in the sky, and a giant hawk hovering overhead. 300 friends from around the world, and many city officials and representatives came - marking the importance of this place for all of us - and the deep significance of the Stupa for this community. 25 years! This is the first Kalachakra stupa ever built in Europe, and it has been watching over this valley, staring out to sea ever since. And who else to preside over the ceremony then Nedo Rinpoche, everyone’s most beloved and favorite person on the planet. Everyone just loves him so much, it’s really wild. He’s always making everyone laugh, kissing babies, posing for funny photos, telling stories, and just joking around with his splendid sense of humor. He is walking positive energy, but incredibly genuine. Today in honor of the anniversary, Rinpoche performed the traditional Rabne puja, a blessing of the space and a consecration of the new Statue that was just installed. We also went down to the museum to see some of Pedro’s incredible collection which is pretty spectacular. Pedro and Dorrit must be so happy today, thanks to their great effort, and years of hard work and devotion, Karma Guen is as alive and well as ever before. This was a historic occasion, and we should all be celebrating.
Today marks 25 years of the Kalachakra Stupa. 25 years here in Spain. 25 Years of sun, friends, practice and blessings. 25 years of devotion. Today added in Rinpoche and a sky full of rainbows. So let’s make that 25 years of bliss, who could ask for anything more?
