That without a basis of love all things are meaningless: long life, possessions, our work and dreams, all we have - even family without love is empty and void.
We must allow our practice and this precious love to truly come into our lives. It must take over and melt into every aspect of our being. We must become our practice. And in this way, we must also become love. Love must bind us, raise us up, it must be the very fabric that connects us together and the thread that repairs the tears. We all know this to be true in our hearts. Karmapa is just the shining light that illuminates the truth that is most important of all. Love is everything. Love is all we have.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for these past weeks, this tour has been phenomenal and deeply inspiriting to me. You are all my family, my friends, my practice partners and fellow path walkers. I love you all deeply. As a small token of my gratitude I offer all my photos from this entire course to you, in print quality, as a gift. They are my way of saying thank you for allowing me to share so deeply how I feel, what I see, and where the Dharma is turning in this sacred world of ours. Thank you inviting me to be a part of your incredible family - this is a gift I will treasure above all others for the rest of my life.
