When he enters the room there is a paradigm shift in the atmosphere. It is something that you can really feel, something you can really see in the twinkling eyes and faces around you. Unmistakable in the thunderous applause and gleeful squeals that accompany his teachings. He’s like a rock star. Its unlike anything else, being here in this space. Maybe it’s the blazing sun or the constant running into friends and impromptu hugs. Maybe it’s that amazing stupa sitting on the top of the hill that watches over all below. Maybe it’s the two days of empowerments with Nedo Rinpoche. Maybe everyone here knows something the rest of us don’t. Or maybe it’s just Ole’s contagious joy. The way he seems to see the extraordinarily positive side of all things. The way he beams outwards. The way he still wipes the floor with everyone less than half his age. He is truly remarkable.
