Today was a very special day for BIA. Starting with the inauguration of the new Nunnery Institute, blessed by the presence of the one and only Maniwa Lama Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche himself.

Kathmandu - The Blessings Of Maniwa

Coming to do the honors of Rabne and to bestow his blessings for the new grounds and future home to 12 new nuns, nestled in the quiet hills of Chabahil in Kathmandu. Afterwards - a surprise visit to BIA Jorpati, just a short car ride down the street, where many of the handicapped and differently-abled friends of BIA Bodhisattvas In Action now live, a brand new campus for over 35 students. Led by Chogyal Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen passed by each and every room, blessing each of them as he went by, a tap on the head from his Dharma wheel, offering each some precious pills, his huge and contagious smile emanating through the whole of space. His energy is so down to earth, his compassion and focus are rather astounding to watch up close. He truly is walking living Dharma. It was so sweet seeing him meet them all, their warm smiles beaming back up at him, meeting eye to eye as he passed by. Today was a very special day for BIA, as the blessings of Maniwa for their new home is such a rare and precious gift.
