We got a visit from Thugsey and Sangyumla yesterday! The perfect way to end the course, with Karmapa arriving for the final day with the whole family in tow.

KIBI - It's A Family Thing

Greeted by shrieks of joy, applause, and lot and lots of happy faces a procession met the car as they arrived to KIBI. People were going crazy cuckoo, some wild energy in the air, everyone excitedly bouncing around, giggling uncontrollably, anxious for a chance to see the little one up close. Who could blame them? Thugsey is so amazing - and unbelievably cute - he has grown so much in the few short weeks since we say him last time. His gaze is so powerful already, he really locks on to your eyes and just peers into you. What a special little being he is. Karmapa is radiant beyond belief. I have never seen him so happy as he is when he’s holding his son. His smile could light the sun. He holds him with so much tenderness, I have never seen something so beautiful. Sangyumla, regal and wonderful, always so gentle and kind to everyone. I am beyond impressed with her presence, as always. There were a few special moments where I caught them looking at each other with such love and humor, sharing their joy for each other and their magical child. What a family!

This course has been really amazing for me, and getting to share it with you all is the greatest gift I could ever imagine. Thank you all so much for sharing you time, your thoughts and feelings, and most of all for being part of our great Dharma family.
