KIBI Winter Retreat 2014 - Part 3 - Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to ALL! Many, many cheerful greetings from KIBI to all - I hope that everyone is staying warm, and preparing to celebrate our new year which is quickly approaching this evening.

We will be celebrating here with a candle offering ceremony with Karmapa, once again covering the steps surrounding KIBI with candles and glowing light.

We were once again lucky and blessed with a visit from Karmapa yesterday, as he joined our morning practice session, giving some teachings and instruction as well, much to the appreciation and delight of everyone. Khenpo Ngedon and Dupsing Rinpoche also continue to give all their attention and effort to us, compassionately guiding the retreat practices and keeping everyone on track and inspired.

My very best new year's wishes to you all, thank you for sharing this past year with me! I look forward to what the next year will bring with anticipation, excitement and many, many new projects to share with you all! Thank you so very much for everything, may this be the humble beginnings of something that will continue to grow and grow, and may we always be sharing and learning from each other, and may the Dharma continue to nourish and inspire us all - may it flourish and grow for all beings!
