Bright and early joined by hundreds of devotees, Lamas and students from around the world His Holiness arrived to the thronging sound of “Karmapa Chenno” chanting as it echoed through the halls of the airport.
He could barely move as the crowd anxious to see him, bright eyed and cheerful despite the early hour, dream flags and banners waving high in the air circled around in joyous celebration. Arriving to KKDSKL the sun shining brightly to welcome him to the center, the full procession of color and song escorting him into the gompa for the welcoming ceremony. Triumphant energy is in the air - what an honor it is to be here, how exciting to witness history in the making once more - Karmapa is now in Malaysia! For the next ten days we have a full schedule of events, places to go, friends to see and much to celebrate - the adventure begins again!
