We made it - the dawn of yet another incredible event is just beyond the horizon as everything is being busily prepared down to the last available second - Karmapa will be arriving bright and early tomorrow morning! My first trip to Kuala Lumpur, and so far it has been fantastic and everything I had expected it to be.
The good people of KL are just like their famous weather; warm, inviting and sticky good-natured to the core. The center is beautiful, and the sun is shining right up until we get our daily downpour of equator worthy jungle dewy rain. Inside a vast display of amazing shining statues are everywhere, capturing my attention and drawing me in before the whole of South East Asia descends on us tomorrow.
