Such a way to end this tour, after a solid month spent skipping all over the Siberian countryside taking in all that this beautiful country has to offer we end up here.
This is a day of both joyful blessings and bitter sweet goodbyes. Many new friends, great hearts, I certainly feel like I will leave a piece of mine here as well. I wish to thank Maniwa Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche for his great kindness to us, he is a shining example of true Buddha activity and one of the most wonderful and compassionate beings I could hope to meet. His dedication and wisdom has allowed two new stupas to be built on this earth, and the uncountable blessings this will bring for future generations is beyond compare. Thank you Lama Ole, your energy and charisma not-withstanding, these past few weeks being with you has been a joy. You are certainly the most kind hearted, funny, powerful, gentle, wild and kind man I know. It has been, and always is, an honor and a great privilege to document your life’s work. Your eyes sparkle with the wisdom and merit of years of tireless work for others, and these Stupas would never have existed without you.
And to you all, I cannot thank you enough for the support and huge love that you have sent my way. This tour has been triumphant! I wish to give all my photos from this entire tour to everyone in high quality, so that all can have them, and that they can be kept as a reminder of what we’ve all been through together. These are a gift from me to you, please take them and use them as you wish. Print them for friends, keep them yourself, all I ask is that you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. And - please share this with all your friends, neighbors, centers, and anyone not on Facebook; Dharma should always be free and I want anyone that might enjoy these to have access to them. That’s the whole point of doing what I do, so please help me spread the word!
So my friends, a day of victory it is! A bitter sweet but fond farewell, but I will always have these images to remind me of the amazing time we shared, and the incredible people that made it all possible. It has been such a joy to share this wonderful adventure with you all, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming along with me for the ride.
