Prostrating as a family to the four directions, standing beside a beautiful granite monument way out in the Siberian wilderness, next to this mammoth body of crystal clear blue water, at whose edge is now the proud home to our newest Stupa.
Welcome my friends to Baikal Lake! We are now in Tankhoy Russia, after a wild and crazy 18 hour bus adventure getting back from Mongolia, tomorrow is the big day for the Tree Of Life installation. Maniwa Lama Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche is here, Lama Ole Nydahl is here, and together they led the preparation puja for tomorrow, where looking out over this incredible view we all prostrated around the stupa seven times in the four directions. It was gorgeous. Lama Ole and Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche were beaming, holding hands as they walked peacefully around the second Stupa they have built just this month in Siberian Russia. Talk about a dream team, what these two men have done is beyond reproach. I am in awe of their activity, and it has been such an honor to witness this up close these past few weeks. What an incredible month it has been, and it’s not over yet! Stay tuned for tomorrow friends!
