Tomorrow we are once again on the road, leaving behind the city of Shanghai and all its fond memories and new friends.

Shanghai - Taking Refuge

Thank you so much to all who have graciously hosted us here, for welcoming us into your center and your lives for this brief yet impressionable time we have spent together.

Three days and three nights, a packed program, somehow it feels like we have been here much longer than that. Chogyal Rinpoche gave refuge to a select devoted few yesterday evening, and it was quite the special occasion for them; gathering in the side room, quietly and excitedly having their hair cut and new refuge names given to them by Rinpoche who wrote them in brushed calligraphy. A very fitting and touching goodbye to each I feel, there was quite the connection between Rinpoche and these students. We will be back, fear not, so until next time; see you later Shanghai, thank you for everything, the journey must continue on!
