So much came to pass I cannot remember what I was like before this. Forever changed. Each and every time it is the same for me, how is it possible to be so affected and melted by the experiences I have touring with Karmapa? Somehow I am the same, somehow totally new. Karmapa even teaches about this - when we worry about things or make long term plans, he gently reminds that each and every day, every moment even, we are a totally different person. Down to our molecules. So we don’t need to worry. And so, which part stays with us, and what is left flattened, smashed, blown to bits and reorganized after spending time with His Holiness? I know many others feel the same. He is from another world, and we are so unbelievably fortunate to have beings like He living among us. Carrying us on wings of their merit, wisdom and compassion. Even if it is over for now, we will all be together soon. That is also a great gift, to be forever connected to each other.
It is not only His Holiness that leaves me forever changed. Those I shared in these experiences with are also bound to me. To my heart, to my mind. We all shared in this exceptional journey. Those that made it possible, organizing such an event and hosting all with such care and grace, I am forever changed by your great work as well. Everyone that contributed to this gathering of Dharma Minds, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this gift of experience. I love you Singapore, you always make me feel at home, a richness the fuels my heart.
Now it comes to a close, but fear not - we will be together again soon.
