He is so charismatic and authentic it can be hard to handle. He beams kindness. He has this look that can be extraordinarily piercing, and boundlessly kind at the same time. When you’re locked in one of his legendary bear hugs he just holds onto you, transporting you to another world that cannot be described. He is without a doubt one of the most uniquely powerful people I have ever met. I just moved into my new studio last week, and as luck would have it he was my very first shoot. Having Ole come to your place and hang out for a few hours is something of an experience to say the least. I wanted to try some different things from what we normally see in “official” photo shoots, something more raw, personal, and unfiltered. He was totally into it, basically letting me orchestrate him in any way I saw fit, grinning effortlessly from ear to ear. Ole needs no instruction, he just flashes on and gives you everything he has, his genuineness exploding out in all directions. The end result is a collection that I feel is truly representative of who he really is. He was joyful, tender, emotional, raw, piercing, hilarious, outrageous and madly delightful. He was breathtaking really. He looked straight through me, and I feel these photos really capture his true energy, his magnetic personality and that “Ole Power” quality all rolled into one. Those eyes just stop me in my tracks. I have been looking forward to this for a long time, and in the end it was far more than I had ever dreamed of.
It is with great pleasure that I present to you all, my next collection in the Dharma Studio series. I feel extremely fortunate to have had this opportunity, for without Ole, it could never be complete. These photos are for you all to keep, to use, and to share as you wish, they are yours.
