This is Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche. Our Maniwa.

The Dharma Studio - Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche

The human embodiment of devotion. This incredible man lives Dharma, breathes Dharma. It is his very being. In every moment he is Dharma. Practicing at all times, reciting prayers every waking moment. He is kind beyond words, gentle beyond expression, and lucid beyond imagination. In his presence I feel like I am standing with a Buddha. Like the world stands still, just me and the lambent wind blowing carelessly over the surface of the world. He, the great magician of heart stands before me, waving his magic wheel, and wave after wave of pure unbridled serenity wash over me like a gentle rain. It’s hard to describe. Perhaps it’s even intensified by the fact that he doesn’t speak English, relying entirely on a connection without words, letting those eyes pierce through the clouds in silence. Perhaps it is in these silent moments where he enters your heart and gently rearranges your soul. He is really magnificent beyonds words. Today is Thanksgiving and I for one would like to give thanks. Thanks to this incredible man, this kind and compassionate being. For all he does for us; in all the ways we know and especially in those we don’t. To Maniwa; the magician, the teacher, the guide, the compassion king - may he live long and may the Dharma never wane for any of us.

I present, the next installment in my Dharma Studio series - the incomparable Maniwa Lama Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche
