The Gift Of Giving

Sharing in the joy is the greatest gift one can offer to another - to see a single moment caught in time grow to become so much more is like watching a beautiful flower blooming in the rising sun. From all walks of life and all sides of the globe we are all connected in a great quest, for the Dharma to turn and turn unceasingly, with unwavering power.

To offer these moments for all to use and share as they wish is my most grateful and most humble of opportunities, and one that I hold dear and close to my heart. For these moments are so much more than just pictures to me; they are my heart and soul, my wishes and dreams, my emotions and feelings from the most personal and oftentimes hidden parts of my being. They represent all I have, all I can imagine, and all I hope others to see with my own eyes - something much easier said than done. To show Karmapa the way I see him, the way the Dharma truly is, it is a venture not to be taken lightly. These images, these moments, they are the path of my life as well as the pages of history in the making. Walking as a mere bystander on the sidelines of something truly magical happening before me, watching it all unfold, I feel greatly humbled to be present. I am just participating in my own way, a visitor of pedestrian motifs, a lonely eye peering into an immaculate world where anything is possible. This world has given me so much, lifted my heart beyond dreams, eyes opened like never before. I offer my entire Monlam 2015 collection for all and everyone, in hopes that you will take them, use them, print them, offer them to friends, put them on your shrine if you so choose, for they belong to you and are meant to be shared. These moments belong to our Dharma family, I couldn’t possibly hope to hold onto them, they were made to be offered away. Dharma should always be free, always available; if it brings hope or love or inspiration then the most powerful thing we can do is give it away. The gift of giving is one of the most treasured aspects of my life, and I do so with all my heart, for every single one that finds a home with one of you makes my life worth living. Thank you all for this glorious opportunity, for I am able to do this by the good grace and support of my family, my family that keeps me going through it all.
